At 26, Mancilla has participated in major design forums like Fashion Week Mexico, MTVs Fashionista, Pasarela Cibeles (Marco Latinoamerica Fashion) and exhibitions in NY, San Francisco and Dallas. Among her creative contributions and team work with other prestiged designers and labels Metztli joined Los hermanos Campana, Dai Rees, Leo Cantú, Héctor Galván, Piero Lissoni, Sergio Valdez, Loreal, Vans and Absolut Vodka. Fashion observers from the media (national newspapers and trend magazines like Area, Celeste, Codigo 06140, Treehugger and Bleu and Blanc) have been aware and atracted by MECHAs not only because of her cutting edge design speech but also beacuse of her brave and radical vision of fashion trade; Mecha supports the colaboration with big design brands, the e-comerce (www.hellomecha.com), trying to fight against the established system between designers and department stores.
